NO chases should ever be terminated. Use your friggin squad cars and box the guys in, IN a timely manner too. Ibe seen police videos in other countries where 3 or 4 squad cars get together and box the fleeing vehicle in, in SECONDS.
There's NO fugging reason that 50 police cars need to chase someone around L.A. for 6 hours, at 45mph, while they are 15 feet off the guy's bumper. Box the S.O.B. in immediately. A little body work on the squad cars is MUCH cheaper than the damage done by a fleeing criminal for hours on end. I just don't get it. 🤔🤷🏻 The police act as if their cars will explode if they touch or lightly scrape up against the fleeing vehicle. 🤦🏻
