I pretty sure that the Supreme Court has categorically stated the video recording is not in itself a suspicious activity. I surprised that this is almost never stated, especially by the auditors.
Edit: I see that that was covered starting at about 12:20 into the video.

Small town in the South. Only qualifications needed for a badge? You played ball ball in school and you're related to a good ole boy. Then the other Bubbas tell you all about "how we do thangs 'round heeyah." That's the training. It's cringe. If you get caught being ignorant of the law, you then lie and cover it up, wait for it to blow over. And that hasn't changed.
What I am trying to understand is how that officer flat out lied about suspicious as a misdemeanor & kept his job. My state needs to do better.

It always amazes me that people don't just say they're doing a 1st amendment audit when they're asked what they're doing… it would probably make a lot of these interactions go a bit easier to just make it plain what they're doing instead of being rude about it… of course the other side needs to be less rude to the citizens as well.

So he quit making videos after this tells me that he couldn’t find a lawyer to sue these guys and realized he can’t play auditor in the racist state of South Carolina . I once had a 900 million dollar whistleblower lawsuit against a billion dollar a year medical group I worked for and had solid evidence of illegal billing and I couldn’t find a lawyer from Washington DC to San Francisco to represent me I assume for political or financial reasons. I never followed through . Lost my career,but made out ok from other resources 😂
