While I absolutely agree with the police being servants to the public, I also believe that the public has a responsibility to treat our police with dignity and some level of respect putting their lives on the line to protect the public. It is no more tolerable to me for this guy to be a punk anymore than the cop. So he had a bad day… Awwweee. Go home and suck his thumb and quit messing with adults. The police are not put out there as a kicking dog for this man child. I would hope that the purpose of these videos would be to make America a better place and not just empower animals to defy the law. Abuse of power when you have far better things to do and people to arrest than someone who just tries to make you mad. If that triggers you, and you feel the need to pull someone over for it, at the very least dont pretend like you have a right to do that in the first place. That or get another job. Ive had dozens of people flip me off throughout my life. I just ignore it and get on w/ the important things i need to do.
All traffic stops are in violation of due process. You are told to surrender your license, registration and insurance. There is no questioning in regards to whether you are engaged in commerce and driving which is commercial. If your license is expired per say, that can be used against you. To give them a license is giving up a right. Not giving insurance is presumed to not have it and a ticket issued. However not having insurance is not by itself against the law as there are other ways of satisfying that which are never asked for. People have the right to travel and driving is commercial that falls under transportation. A license is not needed to travel in your car, but these ignorant cops and most lawyers do not know or understand this.
In 2003, I was illegally stopped by Bradford Township, Pennsylvania Officer Brad Mason, who was intentionally blocking an intersection at the bottom of Interstate Parkway in the City of Bradford, Pennsylvania, which was outside of his jurisdiction. I wish that I had handled it more like this guy. Officer Mason went on to become McKean County, Pennsylvania sheriff. While he was sheriff, he beat up a WWII vet who had come to the jail to bail out his grandson. This video may still be available on YouTube. Sheriff Mason went on to resign after being charged with statutory rape, a crime that there had been whisperings of him getting away with for years with many underage girls. There is a 2009 article in The Bradord Era titled World War II vet, sheriff and deputies "star" on YouTube if the video is no longer available.
Body cams shouldn't have switches and should be activated by leaving the seat of a police car with a dash cam.

He also gives credit to the good police officer. Thats admirable. He is an auditor grade A+. Someone who is willing to hold police to a higher standard is a dangerous hobby but it does have results that benefit all citizens.

I generally agree with the vast majority of these videos and similar ones but I just don’t get why someone has to act like a asshole to somebody who YOU think is a asshole before they do anything at all the deserve it. If you don’t have to show ID then don’t show it, by all means demand to know why you were pulled over. But to ride around to flip cops the bird just because you can seems pretty stupid to me and just hardens the asshole attitude most cops already have towards the general public. Believe me I’m no fan of these power tripping assholes behind a badge at all just seems counterproductive to do shit like this and then to call the cop a motherfucker, pig, etc, when a cop he obviously knows on some level backs him up for the bullshit stop to not be valid. Maybe there’s some backstory between the 1st cop that I’m not aware of and if so, never mind…
Constitutionality aside, I cringe at the loud mouthed, obnoxious, and disrespectful behavior of a lot of the subjects of these videos.

It should also be pointed out that according to §5503 of the Pennsylvania Penal Code exhibiting an “obscene gesture” is only considered “disorderly conduct” if it happens “with intent to cause public inconvenience, annoyance or alarm, or recklessly creating a risk thereof”.
