F. They approached him even when he was videoing from far away. They insulted him. The cops were in control of the scene. They were just standing around. The cops ego were hurt because he stood up to them.
The officers were 100% correct. The senator was in fact race baiting. Imo, this isn’t a violation of his rights, but I assume the charges will be dropped purely because of his position + the charge isn’t serious. I can only imagine how annoying it must be for ppl to race bait like that. Like the officers don’t have enough to deal with on a daily basis.
It doesn’t matter if a citizen is willing or not if the law-enforcement Officer wants to arrest you they’re going to arrest you. Why would you commend somebody for voluntarily complying with being arrested illegally. I know an individual takes the chance of being killed if they don’t comply because law-enforcement officers are never held liable, even when they illegally detained illegally arrest and illegally murder somebody they are not held liable and 99% of the cases because they hide behind their qualified

The only person agitating or baiting is the cops! He was just standing there filming doing LITERALLY NOTHING. They are the ones provoking! Calling him a “race-baiter” when he’s addressing problems that directly affect his community is so incredibly blatantly racist that I can’t believe it. Why would he film if a white man was pulled over? THEYRE NOT THE ONES BEING REGULARLY KILLED BY LAW ENFORCEMENT. And you know what if he saw someone being mistreated by law enforcement of any race, I have a feeling he would absolutely stop and record.

In this day and age US citizens should have a right to be safe from dangerous cops. Look at all the trouble and chaos that has took place over the past few years due to cameras and transparency.
I have listened a lot of videos about the illegals arresting people for filming police traffic stop, the United States having a very serious problem. Because every state having their own laws which is all nonsense, because the federal government gave the states them too much powers over the citizens to abuse them. I have never seen this kind of hypocrisy in all my life, because all the rest of countries operating under the same umbrella 🏖️ but. The United States is quite different from every other countries in the world, I don't know when this kind of nonsense is going to stop. The country is under no control at all, the police officers them doesn't even respect their own bosses. If it was me as the state representative I would get them to fired, they would haveto respect me. If you cannot respect your boss because he is a black man or woman, you couldn't serve in my city or state.

could have just left him alone but they decided to argue with him and escalate the issue. Just walk away and go about your job and train the officers, as they see and observe the argument between them. But when someone/anyone walks up to the Traffic stop within 5 to 10 feet can become a Safety issue. But why would you want to Intentionally walk up to cops on a traffic stop just so you can record it?
He is a brave man holding this enforcement arm of white supremacy accountable.
