  1. This is a damn shame all around. And PD categorically are in a spiral decline that will be near impossible to pull out of. Hiring power hungry, unintelligent people to enforce the law and baited by greed into corruption has put the profession in a really bad public image, thus making it harder for genuinely good people, suited for LE, to want to join the force and instead abondand the idea of the career path, further attracting only the despicable. Keep this up and we will be a police state nation, ran only by the evil and corrupt. I support our Troops and Police, but there needs to be a zero-tolerance policy for such egregious violations of people and their property. Make law enforcement an honorable profession again.

  2. They lie so well and nothing will be done about it. We should be allowed to. Have the same power if they start lying about what happened and can prove it

  3. I googled the case and came across a Facebook post from Sept 1: BREAKING: the Magistrate Judge presiding over Joshua Rohrer's case has decided in FAVOR of Joshua, and recommends DENYING qualified immunity to corrupt Gastonia cops Maurice Taylor III and Cierra Brooks on all but one of Joshua's claims.

If the trial judge agrees with this decision, Joshua can sue Gastonia city officials, the former Gastonia PD social media manager who defamed him, AND Taylor and Brooks who assaulted him, wrongfully arrested him, and tased his service dog Sunshine (RIP).

This is a big victory for Joshua, and for all of us who have fought for justice for him and Sunshine.

  4. Imho … This was an example of a situation that if the races of the suspect and that of the officers were to be reversed a black suspect with the same variables applied would be claiming that the officers behavior was racially motivated and would probably have gained national attention and alot more support in a successful campain to hold two white officers accountable,.. especially in the event that they were both male.
Aswell, I would not put it past a Police Department in this day and age givenn the current social climate on our nation that race and gender were most likely a factor, if not aajor factor in the decisions made in terms of reprimand in response to the two officers beligerant, condescending and unconditional behavior. Neither Officer showed any depth of character, professionalism nor any level of compassion during thier interactions with Sunshine and her struggling veteran care taker.
    Piss Poor.
    Ego driven and Entitled

  5. This clip is THE WORST example of supporting the community. One, what is the likelihood of this homeless person having the income to pay a fine 2, who was the injured party 3, what investigation was made to determine if there was a crime 4, zero effort was given by the play cops to let the veteran move on as he offered to do numerous times.
Tbis is way millions is spent on inadequate training of cops and why BILLIONS is spent on compensation and court costs each year.
