  1. And he will continue to receive the retirement benefit of almost $8,000 a month while in jail, for abusing his power in the public job position where he is receiving this retirement benefit of almost $8,000 a month. Crime REALLY does pay, even when you are convicted and sentenced to prison.

  2. Allowed to retire at $8K a month?? Even if he does some gratuitous time he’s gonna be living like a king! This is ridiculous that this little bald mountebank is is ridiculous it little bald mountebank is allowed to prosper in material opulence. And the ‘roided’ backup cops need to be investigated for controlled substance abuse.

  3. This happens all the time. He was caught. What a punishment, forced to retire with benefits. That's not justice. That's covering up the crime. If they would lose those benefits, i bet this wouldn't happen.

  4. Why did the other officer around him, allow this to happen they should also be charged with, not intervening while rights were being violated all of them should be charged, while they stood there and did nothing or helped him. Also I believe that officer who are under investigation should not be allowed to retire or resign their postions before investigation, or charges are either cleared or brought forth from the grand jury. And all money that was paid to him for the retirement should have to be paid back.

  5. You have no idea that's not even bad that whole county is so corrupt they tried to charge me I hired a lawyer when I went to court it just so happened to be the public defender who ended up making me sign a piece of paper saying he wouldn't represent me unless I took the plea deals and that's just the tip of the iceberg

  6. That tyrant has Napoleon Complex. A small soy boy (he's not a man) who sees himself as a self-imposed dictator. How dare he say "not in MY county." His county? Who does he think put him in office…the PEOPLE. Since when does an elected Sheriff suddenly become the owner of a county once in office? Pure tyranny! Pure abhorrent behavior.

Hopefully he gets a proper attitude adjustment while sitting in Hotel Cell.

  7. He shouldn’t be receiving a $96,000 a year pension, but rather be paying hundreds of thousands of dollars in fines and penalties. As well as the maximum jail sentence available by law. These guys can’t believe that they are unjustifiably hated by the people. Time for street Justice.

  8. l. Hill was found guilty of six of seven counts, including causing physical pain and bodily injury to six men, and ordering inmates to be strapped into restraint chairs for hours at a time. In March 2023, Hill was sentenced to 18 months in federal prison, but was released early in March 2024 after serving less than a year. He is currently serving his sentence in community confinement, which could mean he is under house arrest or in a halfway house.
