While she did walk away from the officer, she was well within her rights to do so as the cops had no reasonable suspicion to put her under arrest after showing clear disdain for her. She properly called for help, leading to her getting punched as bystanders viewed what the cops were doing
When a cop is trying to abuse you, the ONLY thing that can protect you is a mob.
Cops are terrified of a mob so make sure you are as loud as possible

I remember this case, two years ago, and all the bootlickers thought she was wrong. By the way one of those offices was eventually fired. It was recent and the summer I believe unrelated to this.

The only reason why the settlements happen is so that the city has no "proof of past behaviour" which limits their liability.
