  1. The parents of Brandon are something else to sit there and beg the judge to have mercy on their son when they know all too well that if the tables were turned they’d want their son’s killer behind bars forever. Why should we have mercy just because it’s your son?? Everyone who murders someone is another person’s child and you love your child no matter what, but you need to make them take accountability for their actions to preserve your own humanity. Admit that what your son did was horrible and unforgivable and you’re very sorry for that and you still love them but you should also understand that he honestly does not deserve parole after the heinous crime he’s committed. I believe both the parent’s statements were lacking in empathy to Aaron’s family, and just self serving. Shame on them.

  2. I knew both Brandon and Aaron. Not well, but knew they were best friends…hung out together all the time , etc. Just seemed like two dorky morman kids. anyway, there are a bunch of YouTube videos out there of Aaron and Brandon. They would make movies, etc. YouTube Brandon Rising (bigger fish channel). Also his brother has a bunch of videos under usernames Aaron Risner. The original songs that Brandon poster were BEYOND creepy and glad they were removed. Overall the whole situation is sad and messed up.

  3. The way he can't take his eyes off the screen when they are showing pictures of his body and the injuries is so creepy. His parents seem just as insane as he is. They think he should get parole?!?? He stabbed and tried to dismember his best friend. He should NEVER get out of prison

  4. I feel so horrible for the girlfriend. If they were practicing Mormons, she lost her chance to be married to him in eternity as well. Death won't even release her from her grief.

  5. there’s something else at play here 100% right about the 13:00 mark she reads some of his lyrics he wrote and he says “treat me like a toy” and also googles beforehand “how to deal with guilt 🤔 makes one think they were secret lovers and since they met in church.. see where I’m going? they usually have a terrible internet search history before the crime but she makes no mention of anything gory

  6. So sad. So sad for the parents and family of the perpetrator and the victim. An awful shocking crime. This video does not show any information about the mental health issues the perpetrator experienced. This is one of the most common misunderstandings.. that someone commits a crime as a sort of 'mistake' and that rehabilitation will succeed. It is unlikely, given the nature of the crime that the perpetrator will demonstrate any transformation of any kind. Although I understand the confusion, sense of disbelief of his parents and how they perceive the crime as a temporary phase. It is rather, a symptom of his psyche that cannot be ignored.

  7. you raise your children to be a certain way. but then they grow up and become who they are. these parents need to realize and accept the fact that their son is not the same child they raised. he CHOSE to become who he is now. unfortunately, it cost someone else their life.

i feel no mercy for the murderer. and his parents are v in denial.

  8. My thoughts go out to the family of the young man who lost his life to this evil person, You find that jealous lovers and jilted people would stab someone so many times, some psychopaths have no feelings about destroying someone's life.
