The prosecutor didn't want an "L" on his record…and didn't care about the truth or what's fair or ethical.

The LEO is a weak person, he lacks integrity and manhood. If he gets butt-hurt because some guy laughs at him, he needs to find another less stressful occupation. It’s officers like him that give other LEOs a bad name. And then his boss gets on FB and whines; why? The Sheriff is only making things worse by crying like a baby for viewers posting negative comments about his department. Grow up!!

If your country is large enough, absurd cases not this is not inevitable. There are good cops and bad cops just like any other work so.. it's better to be case by case instead of judging the whole police system.

I don't want the cop to get in trouble I'd rather not have things settled by courts if it doesn't have to be that way.. do it like we did back in the day between good neighbors now… even if the cops were a-holes.. do the right thing and apologize to the old man, i mean the neighbor and the cops… and he'll probably forgive you, eh was a young hot-head once too.. just do the right thing and respect you're elders… y'all got beer bellies and you ain't saints and you could learn a thing or too from the old man's wisdom if you didn't just think of him as a road turtle… alrighty then.. have a nice day…
