WV Deputy Arrested & Indicted by Feds – County Refused My FOIA for Body Cam

1. A waste of time? I’ll have you know that because of your videos my fiancé, a new public defender and attorney, have learned a nuance that could be used in her job in at least 2 different occasions.

2. So, what happened? In too many of your videos, no resolution occurs. In effect, you prefer to waste our time by presenting interesting cases while ultimately disappointing subscribers by ignoring outcomes.

9. West Virginia police lie about body camera footage in most every case. I know of 3 personally where they said no body cameras in the report but photos taken by bystanders or the defendants clearly show the officers have them on. So they’re either lying of course or not turning them on so they don’t record themselves breaking the law and violating people’s rights. I still STRONGLY AGREE that if officers turn off or don’t turn on their body cameras then they’re at fault. That’s why the body cameras are there to protect everyone. Therefore not using them is clearly to avoid being caught in their own criminal behavior and or activity. Period!!!

24. I just looked to see if there was any further information on this case, and it looks like he was acquitted by a jury. I guess it was lucky for him that somehow his body cam shut off while he was beating a handcufffed person

44. this could be solved quickly if it would be held as assumed that the "missing" or "unavailable" bodycam footage in fact shows the misconduct the police deny exists and is accepted as part of the lawsuit.

45. It has already been 6 years and we haven't seen this body cam footage but the fed has. Where's the accountability and transparency? I want to see this body cam footage just like any cop wants to see a person's ID for no reason. So much injustice right here in our own back yards.

46. That officer looks like a steroid raging monster. In other words, an accident waiting to happen. LEO's need to start being tested for steroids whenever there's a complaint or misconduct.

47. John I don't know if you've noticed, but I'm positing that there is an awful lot of steroid abuse in police forces, I've had a couple of interactions with some poor over here that I strongly suspect they were using steroids. It can and does make you likely to look for conflict.
