One Tennessee teenager is dead and another is behind bars after a missing person case became a homicide prosecution in a matter of days. Trinity Bostic was reported missing and assumed to be a runaway until her body was found near a wooded area off a state highway. A 17-year-old boy was arrested and charged with first-degree murder three days after Bostic’s body was found. Law&Crime’s Jesse Weber breaks down the tragic case.

Her father was concerned enough to report her missing immediately, police still ignored him for FIVE DAYS. They knew her phone stopped moving that night. Still said nothing!! We may have found her in time if they wouldve done something when reported missing.

This is so sad and scary. As a teen I ran away many times and it wasn't until I was older I realized how lucky I was that nothing happened to me. I was in one situation where I was 15 and got in the car with someone I thought I could trust and ended up in a remote area called Vasco Road. It ended up clicking that something was wrong so I said I needed to use the bathroom and was able to go behind the vehicle. Another car was driving by and saw me crouched behind the car and pulled over. I got very lucky it was a man going to work at a hospital where he was a nurse. He had his identification tag clipped to his scrubs for work and I jumped in the vehicle. At that moment it felt like my safest option and I was taken to the hospital. The 3 men in the vehicle were obviously long gone when police got to the area. This could have easily been me and we see so many stories of teens being taken and murdered. It's devastating to all. I am praying for the family
In this crazy modern society that we live in, people are loosing sight of the fact that murder is bad.

You want to know why this is happening? It is because your laws, your systems decided women and girls do not count as people, that taking away their right to control their own destiny is ''normal''. This is the result of butt-hurt guys (notice I did not say men, they don't qualify) being angry about women wanting rights and wanting to find a way to punish them for it.
