2. Justice failed to these children, both parents were abusing their own children, the mother is in prison and the father is free which is a totally miscarried of justice

    When he was living with Ruby…he never stopped her from her extreme parenting…therefore, culpable in my eyes. Also, just to show his character…he tried having his daughter arrested when she took things from the home to help with taking care of HIS children.

34. To all the people saying "Kevin abandoned his kids" and "He is complicit" I don't think you understand or are aware that Jodi is known for separating husbands from their families he didn't choose to leave he was pressured

35. Taxpayers in deeply conservative states are rife with conspiracy theories regarding DCFS. They’ve just legislatively starved the agencies to prevent them from having the resources to follow up on any but the most obvious cases. Conservative talk radio here in Idaho talks about DCFS like they are the abusers. This is even after a young boy died of abuse at the hands of his stepfather because his father’s frantic phone calls weren’t well followed up on. Schools have to report abuse, which is exactly why religiously motivated abusers don’t send their kids to school.

36. there's evidence to suggest that Ruby AND Kevin were both abusive before ever meeting Jodi. the "brainwashed" defense doesn't make sense when you realize that this type of behavior from the parents, being emotional AND physical abuse as well as neglect as been occurring for years. neither of them deserve the kids again
