  1. If the prosecution had focused on Baldwin's role as a producer who indirectly is responsible for the hiring of inadequate people and following the safety policy, MAYBE they would have had a case.
They botched it by minimizing his role as an actor while at the same time overexaggerating his responsibilities.

  2. Ниодин актёр не должен отвечать за работу оружейников! Представьте, если бы Шварценегеру, в Терминаторе, или Сталоне, в Рэмбо, зарядили пулемёт боевыми…

  3. It sounds Ridiculous to say that Mr. Baldwin needed to double check the armorer’s work because she was so inexperienced. The producers or whomever is in charge of hiring an armorer should have not hired someone inexperienced! What a ludicrous argument. Are the people responsible for hiring Gutierrez-Reed going to be sued now? That makes a lot more sense then suing an actor who was specifically told the gun was cold and therefore checked. If Baldwin is a producer who signed on to hire her, then accuse him of hiring someone too inexperienced for the job. Don’t accuse him of not doing her job for her while on set as an actor.

  4. How in any world of reality is the gun used in the death (probably a homicide of some sort) be destroyed before the trial is completed. There is NO NEED for me to waste any more time on this foolish clown show. Our justice department is gone.

  5. The armorer had one specific, crucial job: to ensure gun safety she failed to perform this duty properly. checking the guns is a critical responsibility, especially when it comes to safety on a film set 🤯

  6. In this case, it appears the armorer failed to properly inspect the gun before it was given to Alec Baldwin. Despite this apparent lapse in the armorer's duties, there's been a push to place the bulk of the blame on Baldwin himself

  7. My understanding is that Balwin was more than just an actor on this production, he was also a producer. While a mere actor might be blameless, surely a producer bears some degree of responsibility for the abysmal state of on-set safety with the movie.

  8. You could argue that Baldwin wouldn’t be exceptionally concerned if he did accidentally pull the trigger while he was whipping the gun out during the scene because it should be literally impossible for it to be loaded, but it’s a very different thing when he has a documented history and habit of firing inappropriately, waving the gun around, using it to point at people…that’s not a level of certainty the impossible can’t happen, that’s just recklessness.

  9. He may be guilty as a producer, he may have lied about not pulling the trigger, but he was never supposed to check the gun as an actor. He wasn't careful enough while filming other scenes, but at that moment, he was handed a supposedly cold gun. Do you think he should have checked the gun as an ACTOR because he saw how messy the armorer was? It would kinda be like expecting Halyna as the cinematographer to do the same thing because she knew she was going to sit in front of it. This case got destroyed the moment judge cut out the producer part out of it.
