Alissa McCommon, a former elementary school teacher at the Charger Academy in Covington, was indicted on 23 charges earlier this year and is set to face trial in January. The former fourth-grade teacher allegedly told one of the alleged victims in a recorded phone call that she would “raise this baby”, claiming she was pregnant with his child. If women predators get lighter sentences than men counterparts you have no one to blame but men.
Every time one of these stories is put out, there are always these guys who say "where were these teachers when I was a kid" or "I wish it was me." According to them there was no crime or if there was one it's no big deal. They keep perpetuating this idea so of course it's not taken as seriously when women do it.
When you see stories of men predators, you never see women commenting that they wish it happened to them. They take it seriously.
