Fears of a serial killer dubbed the “Rainey Street Ripper” have disturbed people in the Austin area as bodies continue to wash up from a stretch of water. Texas authorities said 13 dead bodies, 11 men and two women, have been recovered from the Colorado River and Lady Bird Lake in the past two years. People are being roofied and robbed at bars around Rainey street. When someone is accidentally overdosed and dies, they dump them in the lake. This is happening in other areas, not just Austin. I'm not saying some of the people weren't murdered intentionally, but this roofie robbing is organized and happening in other cities, not just Austin.
Start with well-know facts and work from there. Jumping to sensational conclusions overlooks verifiable information and allows roofie robbers to continue their crime spree and remain free from suspicion because everyone is raging about a single serial killer instead of investigating the organized group of people involved in the Rainey street bars roofie robbing.
