The film director who was shot in the shoulder on the set of Alec Baldwin’s movie “Rust” took the stand in the now-convicted armorer’s trial and detailed the deadly incident that left the crew’s cinematographer dead. Joel Souza said the gunshot felt like getting hit with a baseball bat. The same bullet that struck Souza’s shoulder was the bullet that killed Halyna Hutchins. Hannah Gutierrez-Reed was convicted of involuntary manslaughter in connection to the shooting. Alec Baldwin faces the same charge in his upcoming July 9 trial. The director had to take some accountability for his actions he hired the same crew that brought live rounds on set he should be charged with negligence!
the director thought real guns were fake movie guns. Baldwin proved everyone wrong, the guns used in this movie were not safe/fake guns.
Alec is on film rushing the young female armorer on the Rust set. There are videos out there with Alec getting in people's faces trying to intimate them.. especially females.
He kinda reminds me of Amber Heards Expert Witness Psychiatrist David Spiegel (the guy looking like an even crazier Version of Doc Brown)

What business did live rounds have being on a movie set? What reason, EVER, was there live rounds anywhere near a movie set? They should not exist in a place like that. It was asking for trouble the moment someone brought them on set. Gun safety should be a class every actor who is going to be in a movie involving guns. Someone out there needs to use their brain. This was 100% avoidable.
I don’t care if you’re an actor or just a regular person. You should always check the weapon you’re handed.

If you shoot somebody, it is your fault.
You point the gun, you press the trigger.
There is a reason ANY training teaches you to treat a firearm as loaded until you checked it YOURSELF.

I wonder if Joel Souza will have such harsh words for Baldwin? I still feel they all rallied round to place the blame on Gutierrez and save their own necks whereas she was the only one who admitted fault from the start! The two other armourers who conspired to dispose of evidence got away with it, Baldwin and his 'I never pulled the trigger' BS and assistant director's 'I don't remember anything that could incriminate me' BS!
