Deputy Hank Valencia of the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Office assists first responders in rescuing a driver whose truck veered off the road and got caught in the middle of a flash flood. The driver is desperate and is willing to risk his own life to save his truck.

This particular deputy, who has since retired, has appeared in plenty of segments on this show. Probably this is the only segment that he never recorded an arrest on.

This was one of my favorite episodes. This was a common occurence growing up in maricopa county. So often that the stupid motorist law was created.
