  1. No way would I let him unload my guns, they will do anything to squash the 2nd ammendment, they believe they are the only ones that should carry

  2. Officers, why don't you take all of your weapons off because maybe he doesn't feel comfortable with you? Having weapons are your weapons loaded. Maybe you should give him your weapons and have him. Unload them so we can be safe, you know, or do you think that you're the only human beings capable of being safe? With weapons, are you saying you're sovereign?Citizens, are you sovereign citizens?Do the same laws not apply to u

  3. I love that Mr. Taylor was able to call his attorney while in handcuffs, who then called the Sheriff, who then ordered that Mr. Taylor be released.

  4. The supplemental investigation was entirely about finding ways to retaliate in the future. Police have come to think that anyone who is not police legally possessing a gun is armed and dangerous. One reason I won't get a concealed carry permit is that anytime you get stopped by the cops, and you have a CCW permit, you're treated as armed and dangerous. This can get you illegally searched and even killed … for officer safety.

  5. I can understand wanting to figure out what's going on because it is certainly out of the ordinary. However, it didn't even require detaining. Needed a friendly conversation at most.

  6. I could maybe understand stopping the guy and just explaining

"ok I understand that legally you can carry a gun when hunting or fishing because alligators and other dangerous wildlife in the wilderness. tho now your in a urban environment so there's laws about caring weapons in public so it might be a case of what law is currently superseding the other, would you mind just setting them down while I call in to the precent I'm sure we have a lawyer or legal expert to clarify this you seem like a reasonable guy I just wanna make sure not up to anything illegal"

just explain why there might be a legal dispute and reasonably just talk with the guy like a reasonable adult maybe make some small talk. i don't think putting him in cuffs and having 5 people on stop was necessary maybe 2 on sight and with a third nearby to call in backup if things had gone south but given the fact the guy seemed to be pretty mellow about the stop all things considered.
