Nearly two years after four University of Idaho students were murdered in a home off-campus, a trial date has been set for the man charged in the murders. Bryan Kohberger faces the possibility of the death penalty if convicted of murdering Maddie Mogen, Kaylee Goncalves, Ethan Chapin and Xana Kernodle. The case has a massive amount of evidence which has delayed the proceedings but Judge John Judge has made no secret of his desire to get the case moving toward trial. Wow another year, unbelievable. Insane. By now everybody has heard about this case, probably internationally. The judge sounds intimidated to me, and of course the defense sounds like they know they’re screwed so they’re loving the extra time. It’s complete B.S.

Anyone who knows law knows what’s really going on with this case, and the amount of “know it alls” in these comments make me terrified to select jury in the US. Takes nothing but a media buzz for someone to be guilty to yall, but in the eyes of real justice I can’t find a single piece of evidence that makes sense yet, not saying he’s innocent just saying there isn’t enough to convict, not enough if I was a juror, excited to see the trial and see what they really have against him bc so far they have nothing airtight

I Agree the crime scene should Never have been destroyed. Also it seems the defense is delaying as a advance. There are already so much manipulation from the defense My only concern is the actual sequence of events being muddied by time. I feel the defense is counting on,or so it seems. Also of course the Families of the victims, who have waited beyond what anyone should have had to ..again the victims Families suffer. Our judicial systems tend to protect the criminals far more than the victims over and over.
