The cop who threatened to strip search him, threatened that he was going to do worse to them, and arrested him for the SMELL of MARIJUANA, CLEARLY needs to be banned from policing forever. The pretext of detecting the scent of drugs or alcohol in vehicles is frequently employed. I recall being stopped years ago due to a malfunctioning headlight. As soon as the officer approached my window, he asserted that he smelled alcohol, even though I hadn't consumed any and there was none in my car. When I refused his request to search the vehicle, his demeanor abruptly intensified from calm to agitated within seconds. In summary, the majority of these individuals seem intent on causing difficulties. It's best to remain silent and allow your lawyer to handle the situation.
