UPDATE on Capitol Protesters First Amendment Retaliation Lawsuit – Everything Law and Order Blog

On Monday I filed a federal civil rights lawsuit for two school bus drivers who were smeared in the news media and suspended from their jobs for exercising their First Amendment rights to peacefully rally and protest at the Capitol. As of today, both employees have been cleared of wrongdoing. But the damage has been done.

Can social media bullies be held accountable for defamation?

I go over the lawsuit in depth: https://youtu.be/qegJYnSvelw

  1. Attending should not be an issue. If their Facebook posts were threatening as they claimed their would be an issue. Looks like you’re right. Pretty disgusting. You should expand the suit.

  2. Let’s see, your seditionist clients met with like minded people to overthrow a lawfully and faithfully conducted election. Some of those like minded people invaded the U.S. Capitol in an attempt to capture and kill the VP. In the attempt, 5 people were killed, including a murdered Capitol Police officer. Do I have that correct? Tell us why your seditionist clients should be protected by the First Amendment when the basis of their protest was patently false, and unlawful. Then tell us why they, along with everyone else in attendance, shouldn’t be charged with felony murder.

  3. How come when Hillary Clinton lost the 2016 election no lynch mobs were incited to storm the US Capitol building? Is that just a Trump supporter thing or a Republican thing?
