Officers Anthony Nesser and Celena Celender respond to a call of a kitten stuck in the engine bay of a vehicle.  The owner of the vehicle found a note on his SUV saying that a small kitten was seen running under and into the engine bay and hadn’t come out.  Officer Celender is able to reach her arm into the engine compartment and pull out the tiny, black kitten with blue eyes. Officer Nesser and Celender take the kitten back to the Zone 5 station, show it off to Sgt Baker and a few other officers, and place it in a box.  Officer Celender ends up taking the kitten home.

  1. During the covid lockdown, I checked the oil in my car…and there were little kitty footprints on top of the engine!
And around that time, a kitty ran into the house thru the open security door…
    And became a permanent occupant

  2. Taken to the local shelter because of fleas? Having a cat free of fleas is just a bath away, with Dawn or anti flesh shampoo… Much work done, for nothing, sadly, that cat was probably put down. 😭

  3. Seriously? The guy turned down the wee kitten over fleas? Just thoroughly lather it up with flea shampoo or Dawn dish soap, let it sit for a full 10 minutes (no quick shampoo and rinse when it's fleas), then rinse it off. That should kill all the fleas.

  4. Two useful pieces of information: I found a FB photo (from the Cops page no less) that said this happened in May 2020. And the note from 0:22 says, “ __ __ A tiny kitten white & black came out of your engine. It got scared by a passing car and went back into your engine. Passenger side front behind the tire. -a concerned neighbor”
