Matthew Schlegel, 44, is accused of inappropriately touching multiple children during the school day at Severna Park Elementary in Maryland. After a report about the third-grade teacher was made in March, Schlegel was removed from the classroom. They'll let anyone be a teacher in today's world. I know it's a shortage of teachers but, take time to do checks. It's not worth putting kids in danger. This is becoming a norm sadly.

former public school teacher here…. PLEASE homeschool your kids if you’re able to. so many things wrong with public & private schools. the whole system needs to be revamped. this is horrifying and it’s happening way too often now.

This stuff keeps to be a common thing with teachers now. Goodness this is just disgusting. I am so glad my kids are out of school now. I would lose my mind and end up in prison myself if anyone ever had hurt them. When my kids were in school I was the mother that would just show up at school unannounced. I know I was a pain in the rear but to bad. I have had words with teachers how they spoke to my kids. This creep looks like a creep.
