Eighteen-year-old Trinity Poague was arrested in connection with the death of an 18-month-old boy in January. Poague is now facing charges including felony murder, aggravated battery, and first-degree cruelty to children. Law&Crime’s Sierra Gillespie breaks down five shocking details revealed in the indictment against Poague.

Romeo Angeles was found unresponsive in Poague’s college dorm room at Georgia Southwestern State University. A student stated the child had been crying for a long time before suddenly stopping. Angeles was the son of Poague’s boyfriend. An indictment accuses Poague of inflicting blunt force trauma to the child’s head and torso, causing fatal injuries.

  1. She was probably jealous about the boyfriend putting his attention to his child than her 🙄🙄 idk how it's so easy for someone to KILL a CHILD.

  2. I was in a Pageant once in a smaller competition.
You win based on amount of people in your age group too.
Just because she was crowned Beauty queen, most likely means there wasn't anyone else in her age group or atl the least, only a few so she won by default.

I won a top spot for being the only one in a swim suit pageant I was in because I was the only one in that age group that tried it. I was far from "Nice" looking at 12 either. I was a pudgy girl.

  3. “Beauty Queen,” Law & Crime is such a joke with these dramatic titles and names. The crime is horrific enough to get viewers. Pathetic to dramatize these crimes in any way, yet Law & Crime loves to do it. 🗑️

  4. Absolutely horrible!!!! Being 18 years old is way too young to have a kid, and I bet the boyfriend didn't want to stay with her anymore, and so she took it out on the baby. That poor baby…. where were the grandparents? Did they have any idea?

  5. If she was frustrated with caring for the child she could've called his family to get him, she didn't have to agree to watch him either. Beauty queen? How much do you think her parents paid for that win? 🤔

  6. “Teen” and “beauty queen” are a stretch for sure. She looks 42 and I’ve never been to Georgia, but this absolutely cannot be what passes for beauty there.

  7. “…if he fell and somehow hit his liver and head” guest lawyer giving that as a possible scenario is demented. this was violent abuse and murder of a baby- not a beauty queen who got overwhelmed and hurt a young boy. get it together🙄act like you have a shred of sense.
