Deputy Shaun Hampton and his K-9 Kyzmo of the Sacramento County Sheriff’s Department spot a motorcycle with no plates. When he attempts to stop the motorcycle, the driver takes off. During the pursuit, the driver of the motorcycle attempts to elude the deputy by driving on rough terrain, but it proves to be his undoing as he quickly loses control and wrecks his bike. Deputy Shaun Hampton and Kyzmo stop the man from fleeing and is quickly detained. The suspect later explains he ran because he had drugs in his pocket. Deputy Hampton recovers what appears to be meth, needles, and a pipe. The suspect states he regrets running from the police since he would’ve only faced a drug charge and now he will have to face a pursuit charge as well. He admits that he is on probation which is why he ran in hopes to avoid jail time.

  1. Cat said the motorcycle belongs to a FRIEND. THAT'S WHY I DON'T LOAN SHIT TO ANYONE ANY MORE. If I ever get stuff back it's because they broke it. If it ain't broke it's fkd up. And when they lose it they say "Well, that was 6 months ago that you loaned it to me! WTF? What kind of 'Friend' is this A.H.? And another thing….There seems to be a lot of criminals in these video !

  2. I'm all for catching the bad guy and roughing him up but there was absolutely no need to send the dog on him.
    1. "It's to neutralize the threat and make sure he can't get a weapon" True, but he had just wrecked at 20+ and was clearly disoriented by the crash and the officer could easily issue verbal commands from the safety of the vehicle.
    2. "He fled and put lives at danger!" He did, but in the end he was not fleeing and was clearly unable to fight.

This is an example of an officer who made a mistake, not a "bad cop".
