Officer Devin Cantwell and Officer Troy Roberson of the Amarillo Police Department respond to a call about a man who kicked a pregnant woman in the stomach. Upon arriving the suspect tells Officer Robertson that the couple owed him sixty-five dollars so he asked them to leave the property. He does not admit assaulting the pregnant woman. The pregnant woman’s husband and multiple witnesses tell the officers that the man kicked the woman in the stomach when the argument escalated. The man eventually admits to pushing the woman. He is ultimately arrested for the possession of marijuana that is found on his person during a search.
