  1. “You’re not going to say that about me after I die.” lol 😂 I made my husband promise to describe me as moody and brooding at times if I ever ended up on dateline.

  2. So – I realize that it must be difficult to do a podcast like this – but it's kind of surprising how much you've gotten wrong here. I mean – wow – So Many Inaccuracies – even the pronunciation of the name of Byran Uyesugi. But – I get it – it's difficult to pronounce Japanese names for people who don't speak Japanese. Also – difficult to pronounce Hawaiian placenames – however – in this case Ho-No-Lu-Lu — Honolulu — not — Ha-Na-Lu-Lu — (that's almost like saying Dillis instead of Dallas),, anyways – everyone who ever met Uyesugi was totally creeped out by him – and anyone who actually knew him from work at Xerox knew that he was a complete gun nut and a lunatic. Nobody was surprised that it was him —– It's not my intention to be mean – but it's just like – where did you get all of this this info? Also, "Aloha Attire" is worn to almost every funeral here – it's just customary. Besides that – cool – I guess.

  3. Maybe they were more employees but on that early morning day could it be that the meeting was about the shooter and only certain people were to attend.

  4. Oh my God you two are the best. I love listening to you. You tell a story so amazing. I kept thinking every time he said Xerox I’m from Rochester, New York and we have a Xerox there and then I have to keep remembering the story takes place in Hawaii if it did take place in Rochester ain’t no way in hell it would take that long to get convicted but thank you for my story time. I always love my story time with my two BFFs over the Internet have a great day thank you

  5. Its always hindsight when people realized oh yeah he said he wanted to kill people they are never taken seriously or looked at to see if they have the weapons to do so. No one thinks to set precautions in place to possibly avoid or stop these killers…such a shame

  6. ♥️ Absolutely love, Crimes and Consequences. Brilliant content, thank you. Such a heartbreaking case. Which I’m sure still affects the friends and family’s of the victims and their beautiful community till this day 🌺

  7. Something I will never understand is why people say that someone was killed "In Cold Blood". If anyone/anything is killed, they have warm blood. I hear it over and over and it drives me nuts.

  8. OMG, this happened not far from my house! Byran Uyesugi was a psycho and that building went unoccupied for a while. It’s been almost 25 years since it happened, and it still feels like yesterday! I just passed by the building last week and thought about the day the shooting occurred ‘cause it’s so rare for us to have a mass shooting.

  9. I'll give you a 50/50 for your pronunciations 😂 I'm from Hawaii & this was such a tragedy when it happened!! I worked at a bar & some of the workers were regulars & came by after one of the funerals, they were pretty somber, so sad!! I actually learned things i didn't know about this case so good job ladies!!

  10. I remember when the verdict was being announced. Standing around Sears tv area at Ala Moana with a completely full area watching. This was so huge here. I must have been 19/20. If you said Brian, I do think it was Byran. Bye-ren.
