Don’t take on the oath of being a doctor and pocketing that pay check and not take on the important responsibility of not being intoxicated- it’s not even that hard- don’t drink! They should be breath tested before duty. In Australia many industries are breath tested for alcohol like construction workers. Medical professionals should definitely be tested

11. I want to extend my sincere apologies on behalf of the doctor regarding the medical issue that arose during the birth of your first son. I do not have any personal or professional affiliation with the doctor. Upon viewing the video, it became apparent that had I been a family member of the birth mother, I would have advised her not to allow the doctor to administer treatment, considering his consumption of alcohol. I would have taken the necessary steps to notify the police department and the hospital about the doctor's condition, emphasizing that he was unfit to carry out his duties. Everyone in the hospital needs to prioritize the well-being of both the birth mother and the baby. Once again, I express my regret for the unfortunate event concerning your baby. The outcome could have been far more severe, but I am thankful it was not.

18. Hospitals constantly defend their so called employees. All are liable doctors and nurses. This was a black woman which also is common, poor care and disregard for our lives. Malpractice is more common than anyone could even believe. That's why malpractice insurance even exists.

    Bermuda shorts and barefooted. He showed up as if he’s his going on his yacht. First red flag for nurses to report his appearance. I’m sure he did not even disinfect his hands. I hope the family gets justice.

24. The baby is still healthy.. my daughter went through this injury at birth. It happens in 1 in a 1000 births. It is because the baby has wider shoulders than his head. The only thing that would have stopped the injury from happening was a c-section, yes the dr. Was drinking and shouldn't have been as he was on-call, but he didn't cause the injury, the alternative is the baby dies from being strangled after the head comes out.
    P.S. Don't treat your child as an invalid and he wont grow up disabled.

The fact that RISK MANAGEMENT has patients sign such intense CONSENTS TO TREATMENT RELIEVING THEM FROM LIABIL FOR EVERYTHING THAT COULD POSSIBLY HAPPEN DURING PROCEDURES (ALL PROCEDURES) that in my opinion makes doctors feel that could ignore STANDARD OF CARE with no repercussions. 39. Not sure who is at fault for his injury. Souly based on the fact the doctor was barefoot in a semi sterile environment shows he wasn't in no shape to deliver. Even joking about drinking is a no no. Then factor in him calling her fat the nurses are just a responsible I woulda called head of hospital to remove him and me and other nurses would of delivered and had a pediatric doc in the room
