Hidalgo County, Texas — On October 8, 2024, during Operation Lone Star, Texas Department of Public Safety Aircraft Operations Division observed a Dodge Charger drop off two illegal immigrants at a truck stop, Love's Travel Stop parking lot in Donna. Pilots maintained a visual of the subjects who attempted to conceal themselves within parked commercial trucks. A DPS Trooper located the Dodge Charger, which the driver evaded at a high rate of speed. After conducting two Precision Immobilized Techniques (PIT), the driver, Juan Xavier Rodriguez from Mission, and a Valluco gang member stopped and evaded on foot. Troopers, along with Florida Highway Patrol Troopers, arrested Rodriguez for smuggling of persons and evading arrest. Rodriguez had an active federal probation violation warrant for smuggling of aliens. Troopers referred the two illegal immigrants to the US Border Patrol.

Since when do we call illegal alien traffickers "migrant smugglers"?

I work as a bus driver for a company called greyhound, and they made us all take a mandatory seminar that was pretty much a 4 hour lecture on how we will get fired if we refuse to drive a bus with the intent of "migrant dumping". We even had politicians get on stage telling us that we were the "Angels of America", but in reality, i feel guilty when i see a news report of migrants doing terrible things to american citizens.

I feel a responsibility to stand up and do something, but i know i will lose my retirement/pension if i do. Just last week a migrant urinated all over the inside of the bus I was driving because they were upset that they had to sit on the floor for the 4 hour ride (we were only 25 min in to the drive). We had another case were the migrants were "taking turns" on a woman while her husband collected money from everyone waiting their turn (this happened at the back of the bus where they had used bed sheets at the center of the bus to block the driver's veiw of what was happening back there.)

Im not suprised these people behave this way. A female driver once had to drive a "migrant bus" and she refused to do so after seeing that 2 children were visibly pregnant. She called the police, and ended up losing her job over it. When the children were interviewed, they said that they were in their 20's, even though they were somewhere between the ages of 8 to 12 (driver showed us a photo that she took). Un-suprisungly the motherbof the two girls was pregnant as well.

Drivers are left in the dark as to where the mgrants are being picked up. We usually have someone from management show up with a bus full of mgrants at the start of the 12am shift, then they hand it off to a regular greyhound driver who then drops them off at whatever location is set for them. Most of the time at a shelter, or desolate areas like Ocala Florida, upstate New York, New Jersey. Sometimes they would have a driver meet management at an off site location to pass the bus over to the regular bus driver, idk why. They're starting to have us drop them off in Philadelphia, but it's become dangerous to do so due to the situation over there. We've had a few recent cases where mgrants outright refused to leave to bus because they were unsatisfied with the drop off location. Believe it or not, a lot of them have recently claimed that they were promised to be dropped off at luxury hotels. When they see that they're being dropped off at a shelter or something, they get upset and refuse to get off the bus,..
