I was a victim, survivor and warrior of what I never forget what happened to me when I was 9 years old and when I hear some predators saying they were victims before there’s a gold rule you never do to others what was done to you; there’s no room in my head or soul to even phantom the idea of doing something like that. This type of offender who got 7 years And should have got life in prison for his crimes but 7 years Long enough for him to know that if he offended he would get way longer Long enough for him to know that if he offended he would get way longer so He tried his best to not get caught and that was a really sad situation clearly the justice system isn't working because he should have been in jail for way longer and Inoculated in a fashion that he cannot reoffend. But this sicko didnt wanna go to jail again but not enough to stop offending…but to try and leave no victim alive to tell the truth…him watching a lil girl sleeping while he committed a sex act shows he doesn't care if child is asleep or sadly even dead. 21. Seriously. Single with nine children living in a converted barn! I come from a family of ten. And I know how difficult things were with two parents. That's why I chose to only have two children. It's very often the same or similar story. A woman with low self esteem allows a predator around children because they'd rather be with a child abuser than be alone. Pathetic. Laws need to be changed. I think most people would be very shocked to find out how easy these pedos get away with their horrible crimes. And it happens more often than not that they are set free within months.

23. My exhusband I married at 21 y/o.. young, dumb and pregnant. I left him, divored him 2 yrs later with a 2 y/o/ and 2 months pregnant, He went to Prison for CSC on our babysitter, got 2-5 yrs. got OUT after 13 months, 3 months later, same thing on his own 10 y/o/ neice. got 3-5 yrs, got OUT after 2 yrs! Went back twice more on 2 seperate charges of STALKING 5 yrs. each time. did the time.Within a few years same thing on 2 8 y/o twin girls. Got 18-54 yrs. He would have come out in a Pine Box or 93 y/o. HE GOT OUT AFTER 18 YRS!!!!! WTF IS WRONG WITH OUR JUSTICE SYSTEM…ITS DANGEROUSLY PATHETIC. .

44. This broke my heart and all I could think about was my daughter because they share the same name and her grandma often calls her Hailey bug. I’m sorry because I know some people won’t agree but this was an innocent child and I believe some old fashion justice was in order here! He would have had to answer to me and the torture I would have inflicted on him before the police even thought about arresting him. Unfortunately, things like this are too common and the punishment not severe or fast enough. The only way I could be satisfied with the outcome of a prison sentence is if he experiences the same level of fear, torture, pain, and violation that this baby endured in her last moments everyday for the remainder of his sentence/life. He deserves hell on earth everyday and I hope someone gives it to him! That and only that would be justice! So called justice system- Stop wasting our money trying to “rehabilitate” souls beyond repair and put these monsters out of their misery! Hailey I hope you found peace and that maybe you found a way to forgive the people that allowed this to happen to you…because I can’t.

    However, it really got to me when the officer said that he'd fallen apart on the train, as he was going home.
    So, these heroes were sent home, on public transport, no free rides home after saving half of NYC. The paperwork and 'debriefing', alone, would have been horrific.
    No providing even a liaison officer to accompany him?
    Bit rough…
