Officer Spencer Perry – Portland Police Bureau
Officer Perry responds to a call of a “beer run”, where an individual stole four beers and a bag of chips from a local convenience store. A man fitting the description is found drinking a beer with two other cans stashed in his back pockets. Officer Perry knows the individual because he had cited him a couple days before for the same crime at another convenience store. The male keeps saying he was “just trying to find his princess and have a good time”. He admits that he has a drinking problem, but keeps asking the officer what he would do if he had no money, to which Officer Perry gives numerous better options. Officer Perry returns the stolen beer to the convenience store and the subject is transported to jail.

  1. Could be wrong, but I'm quite certain that boy adrian's got some spook in him. THAT'S why he's stealing crap, his daddy was prolly a four loko thief and its something thats been passed down the family tree for generations to come! LMAO

  2. "Just trying to find my princess."…. Seemed like a random, creepy comment, then I looked at his hat.

Let me offer my condolences to a fellow, down and out, socially awkward, Portland nerd. I'm not quite that down or that out, but these are tough times for everybody.

  3. Maybe it was good for him to be arrested, maybe it wasn't. However, I know this for a fact; Getting a job is significantly more difficult to get once you've been arrested and proven in court guilty in the court of law for robbery/shop lifting. Not a whole bunch of stores are super interested in hiring people that have a proven and documented history of stealing from them/similar places.
If he needed a break from additional drugs besides alcohol then maybe it was possibly helpful in the long run… Still, maybe it wasn't. Regardless, people like this dude(maybe he's a lot more horrible than he appears in the video) could use a break every once in awhile before you go throwing him in jail and tossing away the key, possibly contributing to the continual spiral that screws his potential optimism to do things right from here on out. No one enjoys a "authority figure/"parent that is on your ass and never gives you a break and a chance to learn from your mistakes. That just promotes hate/untrust towards "the system/society." We could all use a break from that.

  4. Drug addicts can justify anything they do This is a sociopath he can not understand that he victimized the people he stole from in fact he states that he is the victim and this is who we have institutions to incarcerate these people so the public will be safe

  5. I'd do what the cops did + w/community service. When are schools going to start teaching these principles (K-12), instead of teaching them "you're a winner" and giving them a trophy when they lose. This is the result of that education. Add to that we banned God from the places He was once honored & then embraced all that "Thou Shat Not" in return: drugs, LGBTQ, abortion & non-traditional family. Now God has abandoned America and we're imploding (Rom 1:18-32).  Did we expect social harmony?
