I asked the attorneys to hand them to me face down on a blank sheet to mark as exhibits so those memories wouldn't be emblazoned in my brain forever. Putting a sticker on front I'd have a white paper shielding the actual photo.

25. I will never understand people wanting to see the gruesome crime scene photos. At the age of 14, I witnessed a fatal car accident on the German autobahn. Those images are burned into my brain even now, 44 years later! When I get into a gawker slowdown passing an accident, I am doing everything in my power to shield my eyes from the accident scene. I don't want anymore of those images to haunt my brain the way that one accident does. Why do people think they WANT to see this stuff. You can't un-see it. If you don't have to look at it … don't.
