30. I am so sick of and disgusted by how much victim blaming goes on in the comments section of videos like this one!! Whenever there is a video about a crime committed on someone who is a s€x worker, an add!ct, someone who was having an affair, someone who had multiple partners etc, it truly boggles my mind how many people comment about the victim and their choices in life being the reason they were murd€red! The way the comments are worded, it excuses the murd€rer, the k!dnapper, the abu$er etc especially when things like “well what did he/she expect would happen,” “he/she was asking for this by being in that line of work, or by having and affair, or by being an add!ct,” etc etc You are literally saying that they got what they deserved, which also means that you expect that someone will be murd€red for their actions, which implies that there are people who murd€r and you support them if it’s done to someone who isn’t living a completely sin free, clean life!
    When someone says “while I don’t agree with or condone murd€r “BUT…”” once you say the word “but” that erases everything you just said before you said “but” and whatever is written after the word “but” is exactly how you truly feel. You can’t say on one hand that you don’t agree with or condone a
    cr!minal act on one hand but on the hand, you explain or justify that
    Cr!minal act! The second you shift the blame to the victim, you are condoning the very cr!minal act that was done to them. You can say all you want that you don’t agree with murd€r, however, as soon as you say the word “but” or you explain “why” it happened, you are in fact agreeing and condoning the heinous actions of the cr!minal. So you need to really take a good look in the mirror and ask yourself why you would think that way. These
    cr!mes are either right/justified or they’re wrong/unjustified. There is no middle ground here or 2 ways about it.
    How do you know that someone didn’t become an add!ct because of a very dark upbringing that they had to live through, and they didn’t know how to get the right help and so they turned to the easiest thing available to them (dru9s) to take away their pain and suffering and make them “numb” and before they realised, they were spiralling and then didn’t know how to get out of that situation because they were too far add!cted?! To many, they are just a “junkie” but I guarantee you, they are human just like the rest of us, who are suffering something unimaginable! That’s not the only reason there is for people to go down that path but I guarantee you, there is always a story or a reason. It’s never just, I was at home living my wonderful life and I decided I was a little bored so let me go and find an !llegal substance and ruin my life!
    Or just like this mother… how do you know that she wasn’t doing anything and everything she could, to ensure her children had a decent life and access to any college/education that they desired?! Being a single parent isn’t easy and I’m sure if she was just taking whatever her state offered (welfare) in terms of monetary help and worked a minimum paying job when she could do more, a lot of people would be saying that the government/state doesn’t owe her anything and if she chose to bring her children into the world than she needs to do everything she can to provide for them! I don’t care if she had 10 businesses! It doesn’t mean those businesses were bringing in a lot of money. It also doesn’t mean that the money that was coming in, was enough to sustain the life that she envisioned for her children. She wasn’t using the money to drive around in fancy cars, wearing expensive fancy jewellery!! The money was to clearly ensure that her children didn’t want for anything and could hopefully have the option to further their education anyway that they wanted to without being limited!
    I don’t care if someone becomes a s€x worker simply because they enjoy it! That is their prerogative! Their body! Their choice! People who aren’t s€x workers are the ones who make that industry possible! I guarantee that if not you, then someone you know (whether you know it or not) has been a customer of a s€x worker! Whether it be to a str!p club, a broth€l, a pro$titut€, an e$cort etc. How many men and women have been to an event where there were male/female

    How many of you have young children? You have no idea what path your child(ren) are going to take in life, no matter how “well” you think you’re raising them! I would bet my last dollar that if your child ended up working in the s€x industry or became an add!ct and was murd€red, k!dnapped, abu$ed or r@ped, the words “well, they had it coming” or “what did they expect” or “they need to take some accountability for the cr!minal act that was done to them” would ever come out of your mouth! You wouldn’t care what your child was doing with their life, you would only care that someone wrongfully took their life away from them and from you. All of your blame would go to the cr!minal who committed the r@pe, murd€r etc to your child and rightfully so!
