  1. Anyone with a legal background please correct me here?

It’s up the opposition side to object and give a reason?

The judge shouldnt object on their behalf or rule without a reason for the objection? Eg “objection hearsay” rather than just “objection” and the judge guess why they are objecting.

  2. I really hope the Judge or her colleagues read these comments! She is HORRIBLE AND NEEDS TO BE REMOVED FROM THE BENCH! All of the cases she presided in need to be reevaluated as well! Likely a number of INNOCENT people in prison right now!

  3. Notice there isn’t any other body damage on the car. I’ve hit a few deer in my life and they break more then just a tail light, those bumper cover and trim panels would be dented. The prosecutions arguments are flat out crackhead crazy.

  4. 1:21:49 It’s amazing how the witness is afflicted by the “selective memory disease”, as soon as the defense attorney starts asking questions, but is completely healed, once the procedure steps up to the podium. Witnesses like that lose complete credibility with me, and I would probably not consider any of their testimony. So far the prosecution has scored ZERO points with any of their witnesses, at least in my opinion.

  5. I’m baffled as why is it that the lady paramedic said that the defendant repeatedly said I hit him I hit him!?! Wth why not ask with what object? That would be crucial as how he died! Wth is this?

  6. I’m wondering if someone at the scene speculated in front of Karen that he may have been hit by a car and that could have spurred the the thought in Karen that maybe she hit him.. that or all the EMTs got on the same page about her saying I hit him. This is not an easy case. It doesn’t make sense that a murder occurred in the house and they would drop the body on the front lawn. But, the injuries absolutely don’t jive with him being struck.

  7. At 1:57:57 the defense asks to cross examine and the Judge responds, ok! OK! followed by a sigh, then at 1:58:57 literally says sustained at the exact same time that the defense is objecting without waiting for the objection to be completed.. holy moly… this is so wrong.

  8. The Defense should seem Ms. McLaughlin as "tainted" due to her knowing one of the people involved in the case is prone to possibly be influenced by that so-called "acquaintance" with her testimony.
So anything she says should be deemed "inadmissible" & be struck from the record & jury

  9. The Judge should have allowed the jury to see the photos. Let the jury decide based on the testimony and the photos if the relationship was close enough to possibly taint McLaughlen’s testimony. There’s no reason to gatekeep this information.
