This is what happens when crazy meets crazy. It’s just sad because Charles called it out and was ignored.
The kids had other care givers, JJ had the vallow family and Tyler had an older brother and biological dad. Why didn't Lori just hand them over to this people ?

JJ was estimated to be killed early in Sep 2019, while Talyii was killed by the end of the month.. I think because Talyii saw or knew about JJ's killing.. in addition to Charlie's death.. so she was killed.. she was dismembered and burnt since she was bigger in size than to be covered in a shallow grave.. so sad and devastating!!
I believe that Lori adopted JJ in the first place to guarantee her position of Charlie's money while living with him and after his death.. when she killed him she didn't want to take care of the poor child as he required special care and education.. she wanted the money that was left for him.. and she wanted to revenge from "K" her sister-in-law.. as she was the biological grandma of JJ.. K received Charlie's insurance money instead of Lori!!
The reason why people are suspicious of the death of Alex Cox, is because he died RIGHT ON CUE, two weeks after doing as Lori told him, and marrying her friend, and unindicted coconspiator, Zulema.
