One of the two preteens who were involved in the “Slender Man” stabbing of their friend is asking to be removed from the mental institution. Now 21-year-old Morgan Geyser has requested that she be released from the Winnebago Mental Health Institution after she was initially sentenced to 40 years in the mental facility in 2018. If she faked such an illness wouldn't that show she might be a psychopath ? her string she had never cared and in the context of the conversation in therapy worried me ,im glad this woman is still under hospitalisation ,something overall is very off about her

they both should have gotten longer prison terms. they didn't just bc their intended victim had survived. teenagers who kill with deliberate intent and shouldn't be treated with mercy. ask yourself this – would anyone feel safe with her and her ilk as your neighbor? what if she snaps again?

It's hard to determine how responsible someone is for their actions under such circumstances. I do feel a measure of sympathy. But if she is released before her sentence is fully up, no one should have to fear for their safety. Denying her mental illness just shows how immature and out of touch with reality she still is, and she surely would not maintain her treatment, which could definitely be dangerous.

Why is Anisa out though? Anisa is the scary one, not Morgan. Morgan is very ill, sincerely mentally ill. Anisa is a sociopath.
I read the book and I feel bad for both parties , the fact that Morgan showed signs of schizophrenia at the ages of 3 ! Her dad had it and her parents ignored it instead of getting her help : all this could have been avoided. Why just ignore sings because you “ don’t believe in medicine “

Is that place has restraining orders? If so, Peyton parents should file both if they ever get near Peyton or the family again (i know Peyton is moving out but hoping for her parents to moved out too)

They don't have empathy. This is a scary state, they cant place themselves in other people's shoes. They don't feel pain so their victim felt no pain. This is a scary type of person to release into society. How do you teach empathy?
Well you dont just get to just get out whenever you please gurl you stabbed someone brutally 19 times you freak. Guess what she'll probably do it again. Schizophrenia is not a joke you have to stay on medications therapy or she loose it you skip medications and go through psychosis she could do it again. Scary.
