Sushi Staples, 37, lied to police when they went to her home to investigate a call that her 10-year-old son’s body was hidden in her home after the boy accidentally shot himself. Staples insisted she only had daughters when Rock Island Police asked about her son, Zion. Police returned with a warrant to search her home and interrogated Staples at her kitchen table. There are lots of people like this sketchy, dishonest woman who are scamming government programs: Lots. She's FOS and a 2-year-prison sentence is not enough. She's also classic in the way she challenges the police and tries to claim "her rights" even as she's committed serious crimes. We see this a lot–criminals who try to act like the police are the problem. Nope:: Criminals are the problem.

I just googled what the would a person be like after 7 months of decomposition… mostly everything would be gone and he would’ve been mostly bones… the poor baby didn’t even get buried … his mother didn’t even claim him, that’s insane to me… I love my son so much… all of my children I love them to death I would give my life for them. And this monster made her other babies help clean up his body after he shot him self? I just can’t this is so beyond unacceptable…. The system failed these kids…
The judge who sentenced her to two years in prison should be removed from the bench.

Who's to say his death was an accident? I know this is morbid. But the boy had a mother willing to deny his existence, just completely pretend he was never born and tell others than she didnt have another child, who's to say that child no longer wanted to be present than exist with a sociopath and narcissist for parents.

Only a 2yr prison sentence and still wants to get out early!!! She's lucky she only got 2yrs cuz it could've been a lot worse especially since she hid his body for 8 months. How did his decomposing body not stink up the home and neighborhood? A decomposing body is a very distinct smell, once u smell it once u will never forget it.
