Nanny Turned Gruesome Murderer: The Story of Molly Corbett – Everything Law and Order Blog

In 2008, Molly Corbett moved abroad to Ireland to become a nanny after experiencing a heart-wrenching miscarriage with her ex-husband, Keith. When Molly met her boss, Jason Corbett, the two fell for each other and pursued a relationship that turned into a marriage. However, their relationship became rocky, and one day Jason was found dead at his home. Police accused Molly Corbett and her father, Thomas Martens, of beating Jason to death with a brick and a baseball bat. The two told police they were trying to defend themselves, but as police investigated the gruesome crime, they realized there was a lot more to the story. Annie Elise x 10 to Life breaks down the story.

  1. Unfortunately a large percentage of people with bipolar are on the narcissist spectrum and give all others a bad name. My Mother is one and she rallies family members to attack me, too, manipulating them into thinking that it is acting in her defence. Doubly unfortunately, these people are hardly ever held to account by society because they are expert at playing the victim. Shame on her and her murderer father, we all have a choice. They chose to murder.

  2. Three reasons I seriously question their claims of abuse.1.) if she had these recordings as proof of this alleged abuse why weren’t the recordings given to CPS, so that an investigation could have concluded this “alleged abuse. Especially since the mother provided a testimony that she would give the children code words to use in the event they were abused? 2.) was the recordings she collected was there full context given to show that the father was truly abusive on multiple occasions or were there just a few recordings of them having a disagreement and she only provided a snapshot of those instances. 3.) if the grand parents were really concern for the children safety and the safety of their daughter, why not encourage her to make police reports to keep a record of this “alleged” abuse. 3.) Most abusers rely on isolation as a stronghold of maintain absolute control, why would the victim not only allow the parents to visit the children but also allow them to stay in the house with them during their extended visits? Especially when the father is a retired FBI agent?4.) lastly if the parents felt like her life was in danger ⚠ due to the abuse why would the mother state that she went back to sleep when everything “died down”. How would you be comfortable sleeping 💤 knowing that your child ( who was diagnosed with a mental illness mind you) was in a tumultuous marriage? If her intentions was to make him appear unfit as a parent, why didn’t she fight for custody over the children when he died? These instances are the real reason why I believed this man was really the one who was in an abusive relationship along with his children.

  3. They basically got away with murder. How could this be involuntary manslaughter. Who has a bat and brick ready at their hands.
They got off easy because of their wealth and the fathers status. RiP jason.

  4. Yes. Because someone happens to have a brick and bat..ready conveniently ready to go. Those kids were NEVER hers. That father had NO business bringing up adoption. NONE. This is ALLL bs to paint Jason in a bad light over them not getting what they want. It sounds like Jason was pushed and pushed and pushed and pushed. Molly is a liar. How dare her.

  5. The wealthy will always look after the wealthy, the dad was also establishment and undoubtedly freemason!
