On the second day of trial, multiple witnesses that were present during the brutal stabbings of multiple teenagers took the stand to recall the horrifying moment things got fatal. Nicolae Miu, 54, is accused of stabbing a teenager to death, and injuring four others, while tubing on the Apple River in Wisconsin back in July of 2022. Isaac Schuman, 17, was killed and Rhyley Mattison, 24, suffered severe stab wounds. Miu is facing multiple charges including first-degree intentional homicide, attempted first-degree homicide, and battery with a dangerous weapon. Miu claims he acted in self-defense.

defense ignores the fact that the knife was out before anyone knocked him down and this murderer stabbed people who weren't calling him names not that name calling is ever justification for stabbing people. And they never mention that he pulled the knife while being confronted by the two big bad intimidating women.
All of these witnesses are lying or destorting the truth. Nothing happened like they say. Maybe they are misstaken, or whatever. I do not believe this is how things went down. Luckily we have the video, which says more on the behalf of the defendant than the others, in my opinion.

When the video starts you hear one of them saying “ what did he say ?” We don’t know if he said he was looking for little girls or not but that may be what had triggered the kid to start recording in the first place .
All these people came looking for a fight and none of them had any situational awareness. Probably from their drinks? All of this could have been avoided if a bunch of underage kids weren't out drinking.
This whole thing makes me angry. Angry at these horrible drunk teenagers. Angry at the conviction of a man who was defending himself against these drunk, howling mob that attacked this older man . SICKENING!
this was a day that forever changed all of them. hopefully they all learned something valuable that day. prayers to all those who lost on this day.

Dante claims he tried to ask Miu what was going on and he didn't answer him. Where is that in the video?! Miu seems to try to talk to the blonde girl Madison but she immediately starts yelling and sticking her hands in his face. I don't even see a point where Dante could have asked him or Miu could have responded with all the yelling and cussing from the girls and the cackling and hooting from the teenagers

This man, Mr Miu, should get himself a lawyer and overturn this conviction. Because these 20 somethings were egging Mr Miu on too. They are not innocent. This was a booze and pot fueled melee here. The man came over to the kids with a knife in his pocket. He didn’t just walk over he rushed. Didn’t respond to the kids when asked what’s happening and continued to ignore them while invading their space. Smiling the whole time while walking around them. Kids and other adults told the man to leave but nope, he decided to stay.. He he provoked the fight and received what he asked for and the kids are to blame? Then he punches a woman and receives punches back. He then knifed 5 people because his ego was hurt and walked around calmly not even in a rush. And yall claimed the kids provoked. A man entering a group of kids with a knife in pocket while acting suspicious and engaged first in violence is definitely a man that premeditated a murder. Common sense and logic

A lot of lying on both sides of this. The whole incident was because most all the people involved in this totally disrespected each other and were terrible the way they acted to escalate the entire situation. Not one sane person came in to calm both sides and de-escalate. They all only escalated the situation. That's why things like these happen every day. Tragic that people have to be this way. Changes many peoples lives terribly over this kind of behavior.

The teens are everything wrong with this generation. I know teens that are far better human beings because their parents insist on it. These kids should gain some insight and examine why they are so unkind.

The more I watch this trial, the more it is obvious to me, these kids were attacking this man like a pack of wolves and he simply defended himself the only way he knew how. This man should be acquitted on all charges! The tape shows the truth.
Ironically, had the kid not recorded this, it would have been the man’s word against this entire group. And he would have easily been convicted. The tape may end up clearing him…
