  1. REALLY LOVE THE FACT THAT YOU ARE FOR THE UNDER RECOGNIZED IN OUR SOCIETY…THANK YOU ANA G. you are amazing at what you do! your genuine love and concern / love for justice is incredible. thank you for caring and always sharing stories that are meaningful and insightful. I actually learned so much from listening and am very cautious now in my everyday life due to your podcast. I love your voice tempo and have obviously become more accustomed and preferrential to your method of delivering stories that are meaningful and need to be told.

    committed

  3. Many persons choose this life after being do disappointed about life. They want off the grid, by accounts her daughter has stated her mum wanted her independence and after retirement from the post office nearly 20 years ago she chose the streets as home. Absolutely, sad 😔 this never gets easy as I see this often many are choosing the streets as no stress, no expectations which was the very thing that took them there. 😢

  4. She must’ve had a mental health issue and that’s why she wants to stay on the street. I’m not like that he’s being respectful towards Betteth. That’s the only thing that makes sense. She didn’t want to have a home in our house. She was mentally disabled and she was elderly that dude was wrong for her than That Woman . I don’t make no damn sense.

  5. I respect this white man so much for caring about this black woman. He didn’t have to. He could’ve said all she’s just a homeless woman. Thank you because a lot of people lack humility. When I was a little kid, I used to look at people who were homeless in a negative light because I was a child I didn’t know what struggling was. But as I got older and I’ve been through things in life, I definitely have empathy towards homeless people. I definitely know that not every homeless person is homeless because they are drug attic and I hate that certain people push those same troops in negative Remarks about homeless people. There’s people that are not homeless, who are drug attic’s people that are not homeless, who attacked you and hurt you. It doesn’t matter if somebody’s middle-class, rich or poor people are human beings, and they can do good and bad things. I’m glad that her legacy is being shined on and I love her voice. I love that song it’s very beautiful. And I hope that criminal gets along jail sentence how disgusting in despicable do you have to be to her to elderly woman?

  6. There is a great youtube channel called Soft White Underbelly. It features long narrative interviews with people living on the edge and there are quite a few with folks living on Skid Row. They tell their stories. Really humanizing and fascinating.
