Senior Officer Mann of the Des Moines Police Department is dispatched to a call, where two roommates have been arguing. The first man complains about the other wanting to come into his room at night to try and do things to him and proceeds to show the officer his barricade strategy to keep the other at bay. Officer Mann interviews the other man and sees a knife close to the suspect. When Officer Mann goes to place him in cuffs, a fight breaks out. He is subdued and arrested for threats and interference of an officer.
