  1. Towards the end of 2023 the DNA collected from the crotch area of her clothing was retested thanks to the Ohio innocence project. It has been confirmed, it was definitely him. I'm amazed by her strength and her ability to lead detectives to her assailant, and I'm amazed by his ability to cry wolf for almost 40years, even going as far as writing to ger and saying he forgives HER.

  2. This is absolutely hilarious that dhe says she didn't realize that this type of evil exists you have to be some of the wealthy rich people that live in a fake bubble to actually believe this, she must be rich as fuc#

  3. My goodness Ana I wish I could talk to you. I’ve survived be attacked since I was 4 years old I’m now going to be 67 and have a life I made but, will never forget what happened, I was attacked by four different men through my life. To this day the only thing I can’t get past is feeling safe.

  4. 13 years ago I was literally hit by a car so nothing as horrible as what this brave woman went through but the point of my comment is I'm not as strong as Phyllis. I still haven't been able to forgive the girl who changed my life forever. She is so amazing 💚

  5. UNBELIEVABLE THAT ALL THESE SO CALLED PROFESSIONALS HAVE NEVER CONSIDERED HER ABUSIVE EX HUSBAND. IN MY OPINION I THINK IT WAS A MURDER FOR HIRE AND STABBING HER EYES SEEMS VERY PERSONAL AND WAS ORDERED THAT IT BE DONE TO HER. THERE IS MORE TO THIS MURDER THAT I THINK THE COPS SHOULD REVISIT

  6. I remember, litt Grey girl. Name in Colo. Got walked at house by her killer past druggie father. Her killer had left wht woman's house. That woman found burnt up in car. Grey girl his next victim. He was meth head. Sad what killed her. CO

  7. For Phyllis perhaps it was to help others but believe me I don't know if I could forgive that either. I've had something close to that happen and I've not forgiven the man that I thought was my friend but then I never did get just and it's only been 3 years, but each of us deal's with these things differently and I truly understand that…

  8. Phyllis reminds me a bit of the book quote from "The Count of Monte Cristo" when he says God has left his heart and the priest asks what has it been filled with and he answers Rage, to which the priest say's perhaps God has filled him with Rage for the purpose of keeping him alive….

  9. The stabbing of the eyes is extremely personal. I would think she was stabbed to keep her from identifying the attacker. From everything I have learned from watching true crime things attackers are usually people who knew the victim. And honestly from the way she was attacked screams this was personal. Was there any connection with them? Did she look like someone from his past?

  10. The part of this story that I enjoyed was the incredible strength that the victim had to survive! God bless her soul.

I for one would admit that I would have surely perished. Pardon the pun, but I cannot see myself continue on living anyways without eyesight, especially after losing it in such a horrific manner.

  11. How many BLACK MEN HAVE BEEN FALSELY ACCUSED AND EXECUTED! MY FOURTEEN YEAR OLD COUSIN WAS BRUTALITY MURDERED BECAUSE OF MISCARRIAGE OF JUSTICE! THE DISGRESIONS OF CAROLYN BRYANT MY COUSIN EMMITT LOUIS TILL!

  12. Phyllis was incredibly strong. A case with what appears to be totally circumstantial evidence makes me wonder whether the police did actually get the right guy. It is a pity there isn't any DNA to definitely link or exonerate him.

  13. yes yes no one deserves to be treated like this. And I feel very bad for the young women that this happened to. However,
CAROL: if you going to mention that he did a crime when he was 11 then state that crime. What was the crime that he did at 11 years old? Did he steal a piece of candy🍭? Did he steal some food? Again if you're going to State that he committed a crime when he was 11 years old which we all know that back then including now black kids were accused of a lot of things that did not happen then you need to state what he was accused of.. what was the crime? And then you can tell me about the psychological help that he needed to have behind stealing food or candy or any other thing that he committed when he was 11. Let's talk about it. CAROL. A lot of black men back then got accused just by circumstantial nothing's back then. The crime was always put on them even though they didn't do anything. They just wanted to get someone even if it wasn't the right person. And at times they even involved other people that wasn't even around in the area at the time of the crime and they also went to jail for nothing. Like the five young guys in the park SMH… Most people that say I forgive you for putting me in jail for no reason or more than likely the ones that didn't actually do anything. They're trying to forgive you for their own sanity and their own religious beliefs to forgive. CAROL
