The jury overseeing the stabbed girlfriend murder trial returned a guilty verdict for Blake Scanlon for the gruesome killing of his girlfriend, Alexis Avery. Scanlon stabbed her 28 times before calling the police and confessing to the crime. The victim’s family was seen sobbing as the guilty verdict was read. Scanlon has yet to be sentenced.

I know given the circumstances this is not important at all but I wish the prosecutor wouldn’t sniff after every sentence he says!! It’s all I hear and I can’t concentrate on what he is saying and I’ve been wanting to hear the prosecutors closing statement but it’s so distracting!
i think this is the first trial where the lawyers didn't say use your common sense
it was testified that they shared locations, it is not a question of how he knew where to find her

He was boiling inside & held it & im sure thought about what he was going to do all the way home & for the whole time they were home & whoa, 28 times!! Holy crap that is 1st degree! She was only 20 years old, so young & had her child & whole life ahead. What a horrible waste Blake is, I’m glad he had to pay for this. Fly with angels Alexis. 🙏❤️ hope the family finds peace.
