I could be wrong…but I believe I read/heard somewhere that DUI checkpoints only net about 6% of drivers who are actually drunk? Remember people…unless you're in a zero tolerance state…it's NOT ILLEGAL to drink and drive. It's only illegal if you're OVER THE LIMIT your State sets as the limit.
how can there be a check point when they are violating the RIGHT TO TRAVEL UNMOLESTED. OTHER states do not do check points.

Wondering. If the cops stop a car, and they ask the driver if they have had any alcohol, and you were to yell out to the driver that they didn't have to answer that question, what would the cops do?
And I am still sure that there is a major debate asking if DUI checkpoints are legal? After all, stopping you on your journey is a violation of 4th amendment rights is it not?
