26. it's extremely important to have complaint forms available! I went into a police station trying to make a complaint, I was told there is no such thing as a complaint form and I needed to explain my complaint to the Sargeant. he was incredibly rude and dismissive while I was trying to explain what had just happened to me. I'm a shy person who doesn't like confrontation..i felt extremely intimidated and after trying my best to explain what happened for the 3rd time to the Sargeant, I got upset and abruptly left. a complaint form would of made things so much easier! my complaint was valid and very serious, I'm not somebody who normally complains so for a shy person like me to walk into a police station it was serious…the lack of complaint forms is a common problem here in Massachusetts, I've seen other local auditors point this out with Boston PD.
