As we start restoring and repairing this cheap auction Aston Martin, I’m finding out quickly that the parts are anything but cheap. Every little piece seems to be a major rip off, but it shouldn’t be and here we literally show you how cheap everything can be sourced by just breaking down each part for what it actually is and sourcing anywhere but the dealership.

  1. Having looked at a few of your vids, it's abundantly clear that you have experience with repairs that ordinary wrench wielders never get. I'm not sure ordinary professional mechanics can do what you do😅.

  2. Can't find the "OEM" brand oil filter on Rock Auto, amazon, or the internet in general. Can you provide more info on identifying the oil filter?

  3. Put your new main seal in the freezer for a while. The cold will contract the metal a fraction and should be enough to make a difference to get it in easily.

  4. 1:08 – I think one of the worst downgrades in modern cars is plastic headlights. They absolutely suck.
Fortunately, all my cars have crystal clear glass headlights.
They always look amazing, and they're super easy to keep clean – barely an inconvenience, in fact! 🙂

  5. You're mechanic skills are disgusting, you put that rear main seal in with a metal hammer…… it was less likely to leak before you touched it. Theres a reason why people pay good money in the dealership, so that guys like you don't get your hands near them.

  6. They use Jaguar parts from when Ford bought Jaguar. I love Jaguars but if it Ford name is attached to it I would rather not have a car at all. I wanted want it for free. It's not exotic if Ford touches it. If you put a Ford part in a kinda exotic car. Your mother shouldn't be allowed at bingo night anymore
