  1. It would be so cool if I was 20 years younger to come to your farm and learn to work on cars by WORKING ON CARS there.

  2. are we still talking about how it happened… it's been flooded and that's all thats important. Your treating the car as if its been at a crime scene with so much irrelevant info.
enjoy watching your vids but like most of us came to see you fix the car…

  3. Those are very very simple engines to tear down. I would have just torn the engine down, I probably could have had the cylinder head off in a few hours. Then you could clean everything very thoroughly.

  4. I have never understood this whole coke thing to remove rust. I mean sure its acidic and it does work but white vinegar is more acidic and works much better.

  5. Hey Sam, As soon as I saw the fine silt sand in the cylinders and every where I would have started pulling the engine. the engine may be good after agood cleaning but if you just try to clean it and leave the fine sand in the bearings you will destroy them. Really like your vids, keep on trukin man.

  6. If the driver brake just enough for block the tires probably the engine stopped before going into the water, that theory is valid if he did not touch the clutch

  7. hone the cylinders, check the oil passages and rod/main bearings, clean up whatever is left, and it should be flawless. I think it would even be possible to start ot like this, but its a bit risky with all the sfuff on the cylinder walls, plus the buildup seems to be so thick on the pistons, that it could might just make contact with the valves 😬

  8. Thank you for not trying to crank it over right away. We had a running engine in my buddy’s garage that sat for 10 years. It wouldn’t crank after a while so we tore it down. It was completely locked up with rust. Had to use the business end of the hammer to get it apart. After seeing how bad that was I’ll never try to crank over an engine that’s been sitting like that again.

  9. Yeah that doesn't look like rust, yeah there is some but there is no pitting and there is alot of sediment but this is definitely salvageable

  10. Its cool to see if these things will work or at least help, but honestly the best chance this car has at being driven again is a brand new engine, transmission and serious electrical work
