Today we head to Copart to track down and buy the Last Corvette ZR1. It was flooded in Hurricane Ian, is a total gamble. I think it’s worth the risk as long as it sells CHEAP!

  1. Let me get this straight. You go to a Copart auction, you bid on a car you are not allowed to even see! That's insane. Only if people stop buying that way will the system even change.

  2. I've owned 3 c4 zr1's…..funny enough I had a quasar blue 91 like this unit, cars have so many issues from the get go. Make sure you 9 quarts back in her and punt that low budget stp filter.

  3. I never understood. Please explain. (You really don't have to) Please explain;. Total wrecks, floods, stolen etc, etc. If the insurance company paid off, why is resale so much??
Hmmm…..I had a nice 1973 Corvette beautiful Elkhart green. I had it appraised for possibly trade. The dealer was angry because the driver door handle was difficult. (Must fully depress) He jumped into the passenger side and jumped the center console for test drive. Then appraised at $2500. Now I imagine a theft recovery, total, flood etc would have been about the same $2500 price I'm guessing? Or possibly more?

  4. Tens of thousands of flooded cars from hurricane Ian alone? Wow… I wonder how many unsuspecting used-car buyers are getting shammed by not knowing that they’re buying a flood car…
