  1. I’ve caught myself accidentally hitting the thumbs down. That is a possibility too. Or a video is open and I have to put away my phone and If it’s still on I’ve pocket pressed a lot of crazy things.

  2. Water Damage
Worse there is no one stop shop or a CPU that can tell you what where.
    German Design
I own German cars and every one are POS
    Now
Not as bad as GM but this German engineering is not what you would think it should be
    and
Module crazy are the trend and will get an IceCar off the dealers lot
    but
    Buyer beware

  3. My Mercedes has 34 moduals,i lost abs, stability control, power steering, launch control,Traction control, pritty much everything. After mercs looking and a specialist i ended up going to a auto electrician and after 2 hrs labor at $750.00 it was a power boot modual.( That just works the opening & closing of the boot lid) I replaced & ever things fine.Just turned out to be Can bus error on that modual.

  4. Too late to answer but I'll take a guess, AC drain blokage, instead of leaking the water out, drain hose unplugged and leaks on passenger flloor, that happened to me on 2015 Chrysler 200 and 2010 Toyota Corolla. GL 🙂

  5. Dislike count went because Google want kids to think is all good for them to only say yes even when strangers are invading their space mentally and physically 👍🏿Like this left-handed thumbs up.

  6. when I first heard of "CAN" and "bus" is going into vehicles, being a network engineer, I knew it was going to be trouble. networking "can" be done well. you have to deal with the extra complexity so as to reap the benefits a network provides. the auto industry is anything but. here function comes firsest at the cheapest. security and reliability are an afterthought with the attitude of "we'll bother to fix it when we see a problem." when this attitude is designed in, the appearance of difficult or impossible to fix problems is inevitable.
the CAN doesn't seem to have some kind of traffic-cop intelligence. a cable just snakes through the car, then all the many modules attach to it. it means that all modules must work perfectly. when one goes haywire it takes down some or all of the network like in the Beemer here.
OBD2 supposedly patches into the CAN bus. you would think scanners would do some sanity checks on the CAN network first (like done with the oscilloscope) before just declaring 200+ fault codes all over the car. that's because the scanner can't get across if the CAN itself is compromised 🙄
maybe they will get to that eventually 😎

  7. It's all about social engineering, if they are running a propaganda video, and it gets tons of dislikes, then the propaganda will fail…

And you can easly get it back, you currently have 2.3k dislikes on this vid…

  8. As far as the dislike button is concerned I’m sure it must just be someone that wants the more successful YouTubers to do less well in the algorithms. (Probably just career jealousy). It can’t relate to your content as none of what you present is religious or political, which are really the only reasons why anyone takes a position these days (in my opinion).

  9. Think of an Oscilloscope as a volt meter that has a timeline. It measures voltage over time. Carly is awesome but it's not an electrical troubleshooter. My E36 had a ghost in the electrical. Chased it for years. Replaced every sensor as part of the restoration, still had issues. Was about to replace the DME and decided to scope the crankshaft position sensor data line. Signal was a mess. Turns out the shielded cable used back then deteriorated. Replaced the harness and runs like new. Had I scoped that right away I could have saved years of digging.

  10. Greetings from Puerto Rico, (USA), I like you video because of how well you express and yourself and explain, you can see that you are a good person, honest and intelligent. I always watch your videos until the😅 end, God bless your family, Blessings😅

  11. This guy is so ridiculous, you can really tell he’s never worked for a shop. Because if you did you would know that paying for diag isn’t for reading faults. That shit is free we do that with oil changes if the check eng light is on. Diag is when I tell you there’s a problem in a certain system and I have to dive deeper into it. Maybe learn how things actually work first before saying anything.

  12. The reason why this gets a thumbs down is after 20 minutes of watching you promote Carley nothing got fixed. You are still guessing which module needs to be replaced. You did not fix the sunroof drain. Most of your videos are spot on but this did not help.

  13. I was trying to troubleshoot a MB suv radio issue. And it had some EXTENSIVE water damage issues in the front and apparently in the rear of the car. And eing up here in the north the Salt takes an extra toll
