  1. what a great story and homage to your uncle mate, I bet he would have been thrilled to see you share his pride and get to enjoy it like he did, while undoubtably reflecting on the same fond memories you have, no doubt he would have been extremely proud. Jeez I feel like I miss Uncle Pete after this! Cheers to him 🍻

  2. This is why it’s important to check for this stuff on used cars. Even if your just getting a working used car from a dealership, it’s still generally a good idea to double check for recalls and things because sometimes the company selling you the car won’t do their due diligence and might miss something important. Probably couldn’t hurt to recheck New and used cars every few years for new recalls too unless it’s a super old car that definitely isn’t in circulation anymore. That type of info doesn’t really seem to make its way to the average consumer. I’ve heard the manufacturer will usually try to reach out to everyone they have record of owning an affected vehicle but this isn’t foolproof.

  3. Sam that car seems like it isn’t starting as fast as it should. My zr1 starts really fast even after it is stored for the winter. Also the continental extreme contact sport 2 is a really good tire for these
